I’m Bhavesh, a Staff Product Designer based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I live close enough to the mountains that most weekends involve a motorcycle or a camera. I grew up in India, worked for years in New Zealand, and landed here by way of grad school in Indiana. I started out in motion graphics, making 2D and 3D work for prime time news. Broadcast teaches you to decide fast, because the segment airs at six whether you're ready or not. After six years I wanted to build things people come back to, so I studied HCI and started over in product design.

Mostly I just like building things. Puzzles, Lego, a motorcycle I'm usually halfway through taking apart. Software turned out to be the same itch, and nine years in, ambiguity is where I do my best work. I'm most useful when the question is still what should exist, not how it should look.

I made the early concepts for what became Lucidspark, built Lucid's first design system, owned a product vision at Twilio that shaped what shipped as Twilio Engage, and at ServiceNow have designed AI product features and a redesign of the Enterprise Architect Workspace.
